MILLARD FILLMORE MEDALS

(1856)

American (Know Nothing) Whig Party loser in 1856.

1856-3 is an example of medals being produced by a diecutter for each of the candidates.  The dies were cut by F.B. Smith and Hartmann and sold for fifty cents in copper and 25 cents in white metal.
