MILLARD FILLMORE MEDALS

American (Know Nothing) Whig Party loser in
1856.
1856-3 is an example of medals being
produced by a diecutter for each of the candidates. The dies were cut by
F.B. Smith and Hartmann and sold for fifty cents in copper and 25 cents in white
metal.
