JAMES POLK & GEORGE DALLAS MEDALS

(1844)

Democratic Party winner in 1844.  George Dallas was the Vice-Presidential candidate.

Polk is one of the more difficult candidates as most items are scarce or rare.  Previous generations of political medals collectors used to size up a collection by asking someone how many Polk medals they had.
